Documents required:
1. If the training started after 01/01/2007:
a. Graduation Diploma of Higher Education, General Nurse with short duration;
OR
b. Diploma Undergraduate Studies General Nurse with long-term higher
2. If the training started before 01.01.2007 and to be eligible for registration by this route, to possess the qualification “certificate of competence of general nurse”, you will need a certificate from the Ministry of Health, which must confirm that you have effectively and lawfully exercised in practice nursing for at least five consecutive years during the past seven years. The certificate must state that it has been granted in accordance with Article 33 (a) of Directive 2005/36 / EC.
English language requirements:
Under EU law, NMC (Council for Care and Support at birth) cannot request proof of ability to communicate in English in order to register. However, you should make sure you have sufficient knowledge of the English language in order to professional practice (Article 53 of the Directive). Employers expect it. They have the right to request proof of English language proficiency to ensure that employ nurses (and midwives) able to communicate effectively. It is therefore possible that any offer of employment in the UK will depend on the extent to which you can demonstrate proficiency in English by a test (you can practice English language skills here and here).
